Ongoing feature…

I am currently directing a feature documentary based in Edale, in the heart of the Peak District in the UK.

I have been filming for 14 months and am looking to continue over the next year. The documentary follows the Edale locals behind the scenes as they work to create a feature fiction film. Almost entirely made up of non-professionals, the villagers have had to learn the crafts of filmmaking and acting.

Currently, I am in the process of looking for funding to continue the project in my aim to create a portrait reflective of a changing rural village where community remains at the heart.

Funding will enable the project to further explore the lives of the individuals, and the community dynamics.
